Movies that Matter Film Festival

From March 20 to 28, 2026, Movies that Matter will celebrate its twentieth anniversary in The Hague. For twenty years, the festival has shown how film can spark conversations about human rights and social justice. During this special edition, more than ninety feature films, documentaries, and short films by passionate filmmakers from around the world will be screened.

London Calling

Filmhuis Den Haag en Kunstmuseum Den Haag presenteren samen London Calling: een filmprogramma dat aansluit op de gelijknamige tentoonstelling in het museum. Vijf verschillende films tonen Londen als broedplaats voor kunst, muziek en subcultuur.

Across four days from 9 to 12 April 2026, Rewire will return to The Hague with its 15th anniversary festival edition, bringing together a wide range of musical and interdisciplinary performances and of course, films.

David Bowie on Screen

Though our favourite glam rock star David Bowie left us 10 years ago, he returns to the big screen with the rerelease of 'The Man Who Fell to Earth'. To celebrate, Filmhuis Den Haag presents a selection of his iconic film roles, featuring not only his acting, but also his songwriting. From alien to vampire to goblin king, Bowie remains a true style legend.

Van maandag t/m zondag is de kassa van 10.00 tot 22.00 uur open. Ons café is open van 10.00 tot 00.00 uur. Kom dus heerlijk ontbijten, een kop koffie drinken, lunchen of vegetarisch dineren. We kijken ernaar uit!
