Beleef met Taartrovers Cinemini een magisch eerste bioscoopbezoek voor kinderen van 2 tot 6 jaar, waar betoverende korte films worden vertoond in een ontspannen en kindvriendelijke sfeer. Na de film ontdekken peuters en kleuters spelenderwijs een prachtig lichtlandschap vol verhalen, schaduwen en kleuren.

Vier Keti Koti in Filmhuis Den Haag met een bijzonder programma vol film, erfgoed, creativiteit en ontmoeting. Van een inspirerende workshop over roots en identiteit tot films als Wan Pipel, Katibo Lobi en Bigi Kaaiman – Songs & Tales from Slavery Times, verkennen we verhalen over vrijheid, veerkracht en verbondenheid.

Cineville Previewdagen

Voor alle filmliefhebbers die graag voorop lopen is er deze zomer iets nieuws: de Cineville Previewdagen van 2 t/m 5 juli in meer dan 50 filmtheaters door heel Nederland, waaronder Filmhuis Den Haag. Tijdens deze dagen zie je als eerste een selectie van de mooiste en meest veelbelovende films van het komende seizoen.

De Odyssee is 2800 jaar oud, maar nog altijd speelt de tekst van Homeros een rol in ons culturele landschap, helemaal nu Christopher Nolan van het epos een blockbuster gemaakt heeft. Om de release van 'The Odyssey' te vieren hebben we op 17 juli een leuke extra: Jaap Toorenaar leidt de film in en vertelt ons wat de Odyssee vandaag de dag betekent. Na afloop staat hij zeker open voor vragen over zijn kijk op de film!
