Two teenage punks who refuse to be taken seriously start a band and prove that attitude matters more than musical ability.
Stockholm, 1982. Best friends Bobo and Klara are thirteen, rebellious and convinced that punk is far from dead, even if everyone around them says otherwise. With no instruments, little musical experience and plenty of attitude, they decide to start a band and recruit the more musically gifted Hedvig. As the girls navigate friendship, family troubles and growing up, their punk project becomes a way to carve out a space of their own.
Stockholm, 1982. De beste vriendinnen Bobo en Klara zijn dertien, eigenwijs en ervan overtuigd dat punk nog lang niet dood is, ook al beweert iedereen om hen heen het tegendeel. Zonder instrumenten, met weinig muzikale ervaring maar een flinke dosis lef besluiten ze een band te beginnen en de muzikaal begaafdere Hedvig erbij te vragen. Terwijl de meiden hun weg zoeken in vriendschap, problemen thuis en het opgroeien, wordt hun punkproject een manier om hun eigen plek te veroveren.
