Jack Henry Robbins
VHYes - FLOPFEST #3
One kid, one camcorder, and a whole childhood taped over in analog chaos.

In 1987, 12-year-old Ralph receives a VHS camcorder for Christmas and starts taping over his parents' wedding video. As he records late-night TV, home videos, and strange broadcasts, a bizarre collage of childhood, nostalgia, and analog horror begins to form. Shot entirely on VHS and Betacam, VHYes is a glitchy, genre-bending time capsule of innocence lost. Reality blurs, static takes over.
On August 10, we’re firing up the VCR for a rare VHS screening of VHYes, complete with a special Q&A featuring the film’s producer, Delaney Schenker.
