In 1970s Britain, glam rock star Brian Slade reinvents himself as the flamboyant androgynous icon Maxwell Demon, captivating a generation with his outrageous style and seductive sound. At the height of his fame, he stages his own assassination and disappears from the spotlight. Ten years later, journalist Arthur Stuart investigates the rise and fall of the elusive star, revisiting a musical revolution that shaped his own identity.
