In a coastal Somali village, a widowed father tries to build a future for his children while navigating poverty and conflict. His struggles mirror the fragile balance of survival in a place marked by instability. A quietly powerful film about family, dignity, and hope.
The screening opens with an introduction by the Saaxib community, followed by a video introduction from the director. Somali snacks will be available in Studio A.
In een Somalisch kustdorp probeert een weduwnaar een toekomst op te bouwen voor zijn kinderen te midden van armoede en conflict. Zijn strijd weerspiegelt het wankele evenwicht van overleven in een omgeving vol onzekerheid. Een ingetogen maar krachtig verhaal over familie, waardigheid en hoop.
De vertoning start met een introductie door de Saaxib community, gevolgd door een video-introductie van de regisseur. In Studio A zullen Somalische snacks verkrijgbaar zijn.
