On April 15, the film screening will be introduced by Peter Verstraten from Leiden University. The introduction will be in Dutch.

De film onderzoekt wanhoop, kwetsbaarheid en de terugkerende cirkel van afhankelijkheid. Momenten van zelfinzicht botsen met steeds terugkerende terugvallen. Het blijft een baanbrekende studie van verslaving in de cinema.
Op 15 april wordt de filmvertoning ingeleid door Peter Verstraten van de Universiteit Leiden. De inleiding zal in het Nederlands worden gegeven.
