LIMBO presents three days in the life of a woman named Elizabeth, as she deals with identity issues, sexist mouth-breathers, supernatural manifestations . . . and a possible trip to hell. Combining video collage experiments with dreamy horror mood, this is what might happen if David Lynch and Nine Inch Nails collaborated on a shot-on-video horror movie. Whatever that means.
LIMBO toont drie dagen uit het leven van Elizabeth, een vrouw die worstelt met identiteitsvragen, seksistische zuurpruimen, bovennatuurlijke verschijnselen… en een mogelijke reis naar de hel. Met een mix van videocollage-experimenten en een dromerige horror-sfeer voelt de film als iets dat zou kunnen ontstaan wanneer David Lynch en Nine Inch Nails samen een shot-on-video-horrorfilm zouden maken. Wat dat dan ook mag betekenen.
