Killer Klowns from Outer Space is a wild ride of a horror-comedy that’s both ridiculous and creepy in the best way. The story kicks off when a spaceship, disguised as a circus tent, lands near a small town. Out come alien invaders that look like nightmarish, oversized clowns. These "Killer Klowns" are here to have some twisted fun, using crazy, circus-themed weapons to terrorize the townspeople and trap them in giant cotton candy cocoons.
As the Klowns go on a chaotic rampage, a group of young people, led by Mike and his girlfriend Debbie, figure out what's going on and try to warn everyone. But, of course, the cops think it’s all just a joke. With the Klowns closing in, Mike, Debbie, and a few friends have to step up and figure out how to stop them before the whole town gets wiped out by these creepy clowns.
Killer Klowns from Outer Space is een wilde rit van een horror-komedie die zowel belachelijk als griezelig is op de beste manier. Het verhaal begint wanneer een ruimteschip, vermomd als een circustent, landt in de buurt van een klein stadje. Daaruit komen buitenaardse indringers tevoorschijn die eruitzien als nachtmerrieachtige, gigantische clowns. Deze "Killer Klowns" zijn hier om op een verwrongen manier plezier te maken, waarbij ze gekke, circus-achtige wapens gebruiken om de stadsbewoners te terroriseren en hen in reusachtige suikerspin-cocons te vangen.
Terwijl de Klowns een chaotische ravage aanrichten, komt een groep jonge mensen, geleid door Mike en zijn vriendin Debbie, erachter wat er aan de hand is en proberen ze iedereen te waarschuwen. Maar natuurlijk denken de agenten dat het allemaal een grap is. Terwijl de Klowns steeds dichterbij komen, moeten Mike, Debbie en een paar vrienden de handen ineenslaan en uitzoeken hoe ze hen kunnen stoppen voordat het hele stadje wordt uitgeroeid door deze griezelige clowns.
