ENFF Talk: Out of Focus: Serbia
In this panel we open up a wider conversation about Serbia and the realities of making films in the current climate.
For nearly two years, Serbia’s film funding system has effectively been frozen, with no calls for fiction, documentary or experimental production from the Film Center Serbia. In this panel we open up a wider conversation about Serbia and the realities of making films in the current climate. This talk brings together directors Dane Komljen (Desire Lines), Ivan Marković (Promised Spaces), and Sara Ećimović (Sisters) to discuss the current situation in Serbia, including the absence of funding calls and the lack of attention from European media and institutions.
