Henry Chinaski drifts through the seedy bars of Los Angeles, surviving on alcohol and his wit. He forms a turbulent relationship with Wanda, a woman equally trapped by her own demons. Life feels repetitive, harsh, and often violent, yet moments of humor and poetry shine through. Friends come and go, and the city’s underbelly both confines and defines him. Ultimately, the film is a raw portrait of self-destruction and fleeting connection.
