24 Hour Party People
Tony Wilson takes on the Manchester music scene, one revolutionary band and one disastrous business decision at a time.
In 1970s and '80s Manchester, television presenter Tony Wilson becomes an unlikely driving force behind a musical revolution. Through his Factory Records label and the legendary nightclub the Haçienda, he helps launch bands including Joy Division and New Order, while the city's post-punk scene evolves into something entirely new. Part music history, part chaotic comedy, this is a wild ride through the people, parties and excesses that shaped an era.

Whether that’s from Amsterdam to The Hague, from one end of the Grote Marktstraat to the other, or in a high school bathroom, outside the closed doors of your favourite band’s concert, or at a barn with vampires lurking outside.
