About Film070

Film070 is The Hague’s go-to film club for young film lovers who want more than just a movie night.
Run by and for the city’s new generation of cinephiles, Film070 offers a fresh take on film screenings through bold programming, conversation, and interactive experiences.

We are looking for three Film070 Ambassadors: young, curious film lovers with a broad interest in cinema and a desire to actively shape the city’s film culture.

What you’ll do

As a Film070 Ambassador, you will:

Organise a monthly film screening, taking place on the second Wednesday of each month

Co-create the programme together with the Film070 team

Attend a monthly preparation meeting with the Film070 programmer and head of marketing at Filmhuis Den Haag

Engage and grow the Film070 community, both online and offline

Manage and update Film070’s social media channels

Be present at screenings (at least 2 of the 3 ambassadors per event)

Dedicate approximately 12 hours per month

You’ll be closely guided and supported throughout the year, with room to develop your own curatorial voice.

Who we’re looking for

You are:

A young film lover with a broad and curious taste in cinema

Actively interested in film culture and programming

Comfortable working in a team and taking initiative

Social, communicative, and excited to connect people through film

Having connections in The Hague or within the cultural field is a plus, but not required.

What we offer

A monthly stipend of €50

A Filmhuis Den Haag film pass (unlimited free access to screenings)

Programming coaching from the Film070 programmer

Film marketing coaching from the head of marketing

Participation in several outings per year, such as visits to film festivals

Hands-on experience within one of the leading arthouse cinemas in the Netherlands

Practical details

Contract duration: 1 year (March 1, 2025 – March 1, 2026)

The position is non-renewable
