Behind the quiet walls of a Texas farmhouse, a young film crew discovers that making a movie can become a deadly mistake.
In 1979, a group of young filmmakers travels to rural Texas to shoot an adult film on a secluded farm. Their elderly hosts seem welcoming at first, but strange events soon reveal a much darker side of the isolated property. As the crew members are hunted one by one, they must fight to survive the night. The film explores ambition, aging, desire and the violence that can hide beneath ordinary appearances.
In 1979 reist een groep jonge filmmakers naar het platteland van Texas om een film op te nemen op een afgelegen boerderij. Hun oudere gastheer en gastvrouw lijken vriendelijk, maar al snel blijkt dat er iets duisters schuilgaat op het terrein. Wanneer de crew één voor één wordt aangevallen, moeten ze vechten om de nacht te overleven. De film onderzoekt thema’s als ambitie, ouder worden, verlangen en het geweld dat achter een normaal uiterlijk kan schuilgaan.
