Student Hana falls in love with a ‘werewolf’ and together they have two children who are half-human and half-wolf, Ame and Yuki. The young family’s happy but modest life comes to an abrupt end when the father is tragically killed whilst out hunting. Then Hana, who struggles to raise her children in the bustling city, takes the courageous decision to move to a dilapidated house in the countryside, in the hope that her children will one day choose their own path to happiness – whether they are ‘human’ or ‘wolf’.

Student Hana wordt verliefd op een "wolfman" en samen krijgen ze twee kinderen die half mens en half wolf zijn, Ame en Yuki. Het gelukkige maar bescheiden leven van het jonge gezin komt abrupt tot een einde wanneer de vader tijdens de jacht tragisch om het leven komt.
