The third edition of <to be continued> invites unfinished film projects in which sound plays an important role. Artists Fruzsina Tamer and Jon E Price have been selected to share and reflect on their work-in-progress with guest artist Martina Raponi and you, the audience.

<to be continued> invites all film-making artists and enthusiasts to participate by giving and receiving feedback on unfinished film projects. In an intimate setting, the exchange of perspectives can feed back into your own and other’s ideas, projects and practices. Through an open call, we invited artists to submit unfinished projects in which sound plays an important role along with questions they wish to explore with professionals and you, the audience.
We selected two artists to share their work-in-progress: Fruzsina Tamer and Jon E Price. As a guest, we invited Martina Raponi to share her knowledge, experience and views on the presented works. To moderate the interaction between artists, guest and visitors, we look forward to having artist, filmmaker and tutor christopher tym back again.

Artist: Fruzsina Tamer
Fruzsina Tamer is a Hungarian antidisciplinary artist with a background in experimental music and film. They approach art as a slow, introspective process rooted in the body—an archaeology of the pre-rational and the fluidity of sensation. Engaging the poetic and the surreal as tissues of embodied experience, they create interactive performances or video works driven by sound as a primary narrative agent. Fruzsina is currently living in The Hague, completing their master’s degree at the Royal Academy of Art.
Artist: Jon E Price
Jon E Price is a filmmaker and artist working across film, video, installation and sound. His practice draws on cultural histories, archival materials and site-specific situations to examine the intersection of memory and technology, often blurring the boundary between the real and the speculative. By combining moving image with sculptural and sonic elements, he creates works where abstract ideas take on physical and emotional form.
Expert: Martina Raponi
Martina Raponi is a writer and an artist researching noise and the unheard through writing, sound performance, expanded reality, interactive installations, and workshop activations. She published her first book, “Strategie del Rumore. Interferenze tra Arte Filosofia e Underground,” in 2015, and her second book, “Psofotopias. Noise: Sounding Out the Unheard,” in 2025. Martina is co-founder of noiserr, an interdisciplinary research group focused on noise. With artist [M] Dudeck, Martina founded the Ansible Institute, a transitory speculative fiction laboratory. She is part of the Noise Research Union, is an art theory tutor at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam, and a PhD candidate at ASCA (University of Amsterdam).
Moderator: christopher tym
christopher tym (UK) is an artist-filmmaker based in The Netherlands that explores the (dis)locations between 'virtual+natural' environments. By combining film and animation he creates hybrid spaces where humxns bend time as they navigate their relationships with each other and their evolving world/s.
Alongside his practice, christopher teaches Animation and is a core tutor at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie (Amsterdam) in the Moving Image Department (VAV). Over the years christopher has gained experience in guiding artists through the hiccups and potentialities of an artistic process.
<to be continued> nodigt alle filmmakers en filmfanaten uit om deel te nemen door feedback te geven en te ontvangen over onafgemaakte filmprojecten. In een intieme setting kan de uitwisseling van perspectieven terugkoppelen naar je eigen ideeën, projecten en praktijken en die van anderen. Via een open oproep hebben we kunstenaars uitgenodigd om onafgemaakte projecten in te dienen waarin geluid een belangrijke rol speelt, samen met vragen die ze willen onderzoeken met professionals en jullie, het publiek.
We hebben twee kunstenaars geselecteerd om hun werk in uitvoering te delen: Fruzsina Tamer en Jon E Price. Als gast hebben we Martina Raponi uitgenodigd om haar kennis, ervaring en visie op de gepresenteerde werken te delen. Om de interactie tussen kunstenaars, gast en bezoekers te modereren, kijken we ernaar uit om kunstenaar, filmmaker en docent christopher tym weer te mogen verwelkomen.

Kunstenaar: Fruzsina Tamer
Fruzsina Tamer is een Hongaarse antidisciplinaire kunstenaar met een achtergrond in experimentele muziek en film. Ze benaderen kunst als een langzaam, introspectief proces dat geworteld is in het lichaam – een archeologie van het pre-rationele en de fluïditeit van sensatie. Door het poëtische en het surrealistische te gebruiken als weefsels van belichaamde ervaring, creëert ze interactieve performances of videowerken die worden aangestuurd door geluid als primaire narratieve factor. Fruzsina woont momenteel in Den Haag, waar ze haar masteropleiding aan de Koninklijke Academie van Beeldende Kunsten afrondt.
Kunstenaar: Jon E Price
Jon E Price is een filmmaker en kunstenaar die werkt met film, video, installaties en geluid. Zijn praktijk put uit culturele geschiedenis, archiefmateriaal en locatiespecifieke situaties om de kruising tussen herinnering en technologie te onderzoeken, waarbij hij vaak de grens tussen het reële en het speculatieve vervaagt. Door bewegend beeld te combineren met sculpturale en sonische elementen creëert hij werken waarin abstracte ideeën een fysieke en emotionele vorm aannemen.
Expert: Martina Raponi
Martina Raponi is een schrijfster en kunstenares die onderzoek doet naar geluid en het ongehoorde door middel van schrijven, geluidsperformances, uitgebreide realiteit, interactieve installaties en workshops. In 2015 publiceerde ze haar eerste boek, Strategie del Rumore. Interferenze tra Arte Filosofia e Underground“ in 2015 en haar tweede boek, ”Psofotopias. Noise: Sounding Out the Unheard", in 2025. Martina is medeoprichter van noiserr, een interdisciplinaire onderzoeksgroep die zich richt op geluid. Samen met kunstenaar [M] Dudeck richtte Martina het Ansible Institute op, een tijdelijk laboratorium voor speculatieve fictie. Ze maakt deel uit van de Noise Research Union, is docent kunsttheorie aan de Willem de Kooning Academie in Rotterdam en promovendus aan ASCA (Universiteit van Amsterdam).

christopher tym (VK) is een in Nederland gevestigde kunstenaar-filmmaker die de (dis)locaties tussen ‘virtuele+natuurlijke’ omgevingen onderzoekt. Door film en animatie te combineren creëert hij hybride ruimtes waar mensen de tijd buigen terwijl ze navigeren door hun relaties met elkaar en hun zich ontwikkelende wereld(en).
Naast zijn praktijk geeft christopher les in animatie en is hij hoofddocent aan de Gerrit Rietveld Academie (Amsterdam) in de afdeling Bewegend Beeld (VAV). In de loop der jaren heeft christopher ervaring opgedaan in het begeleiden van kunstenaars door de hobbels en mogelijkheden van een artistiek proces.
