The Firemen's Ball - Fanny's Final Fest
When a seemingly ordinary village celebration unravels through a chain of comic disasters, a community's virtues and flaws are laid bare.
A volunteer fire brigade organizes its annual ball to honour its elderly former chairman. The evening features a beauty pageant, a raffle and festive celebrations, but one mishap after another throws the event into chaos. Petty rivalries, misunderstandings and human frailty gradually overshadow the festivities. What begins as a community celebration turns into a sharply observed social comedy.
Een vrijwillige brandweer organiseert haar jaarlijkse bal ter ere van haar bejaarde oud-voorzitter. De avond bestaat uit een schoonheidswedstrijd, een loterij en feestelijkheden, maar de ene na de andere tegenslag zorgt voor complete chaos. Kleine jaloezieën, misverstanden en menselijke zwakheden nemen langzaam de overhand. Wat begint als een dorpsfeest groeit uit tot een scherpzinnige sociale komedie.
