Still Life in Motion consists of the following two movies:
INVENTORY (by Ivan Marković, Serbia, 2025): A photographic chronicle of a drastic transformation of Sava Centar, an iconic building that once embodied a vision of the future for the progressive, Non-Aligned, international Yugoslavia.
Once a symbol of Yugoslavia’s progress, Sava Centar in Belgrade was left to deteriorate since the country broke apart. Piece by piece, the interior elements that resided in this cultural and congress centre since the 70s are torn out. Like many of the younger workers on the reconstruction, Nenad is here for the first time.
TEMO RE (by Anka Gujabidze, Georgia, 2025): Told entirely through black-and-white photographs, this double IFFR award-winner follows a struggling actor-turned-courier across Tbilisi.
For a broke actor, who works as a delivery man to make a living, a daily ride across Tbilisi morphs into a nightmarish vision of poverty, corruption and estranged, eerie characters from Georgia’s past and present. It’s an adaptation of Temo Rekhviashvili’s award-winning debut novel "Courier’s Tales", who plays himself in the film. "Temo Re" is the director’s debut film, told through black-and-white photo montage, and crafted with no budget, crew or institutional support. It premiered this year at the International Film Festival Rotterdam, winning a prestigious Tiger Short Award and the KNF Award from the Circle of Dutch Film Journalists.

INVENTORY (door Ivan Marković, Servië, 2025): Een fotografische kroniek van de ingrijpende transformatie van het Sava Centar, een iconisch gebouw dat ooit de visie op de toekomst belichaamde van het progressieve, niet-gebonden, internationale Joegoslavië.
Ooit een symbool van Joegoslavië’s vooruitgang, is het Sava Centar in Belgrado sinds de uiteenvallen van het land aan verval overgelaten. Stuk voor stuk worden de interieurelementen, die sinds de jaren ’70 deel uitmaakten van dit culturele en congrescentrum, verwijderd. Net als veel jonge werknemers bij de heropbouw is Nenad hier voor het eerst.
TEMO RE (door Anka Gujabidze, Georgië, 2025): Volledig verteld aan de hand van zwart-witfoto’s, volgt deze dubbel IFFR-awardwinnaar een worstelende acteur-turned-koerier door Tbilisi.
Voor een blutte acteur, die als bezorger werkt om de kost te verdienen, verandert een dagelijkse rit door Tbilisi in een nachtmerrieachtig beeld van armoede, corruptie en vervreemde, griezelige personages uit het verleden en heden van Georgië. Het is een bewerking van Temo Rekhviashvili’s bekroonde debuutroman Courier’s Tales, waarin hij zichzelf speelt in de film. Temo Re is de debuutfilm van de regisseur, verteld via een zwart-wit fotomontage en gemaakt zonder budget, crew of institutionele steun. De film ging dit jaar in première op het International Film Festival Rotterdam en won de prestigieuze Tiger Short Award en de KNF Award van de Vereniging van Nederlandse Filmjournalisten.
