Together with his dysfunctional family, Aaron Whistler has to come to terms with his sister’s suicide, when they are clearing out her appartement.
Two months after the suicide of sister and daughter Leah (Kaitlyn Dever), the Whistler family comes together to clear out her apartment. Comedy writer Aaron Whistler (Cooper Raiff) is struggling to process his loss, while his dysfunctional family can barely communicate. Director Jay Duplass has taken on LIFF before with The One I Love, and returns once again with a starcast filled tragicomedy (Kumail Nanjiani, Lucy Boynton and Ariela Barer).

Komedieschrijver Aaron Whistler (Cooper Raiff) probeert het verlies te verwerken terwijl zijn disfunctionele familie nauwelijks met elkaar kan communiceren. Regisseur Jay Duplass stond al eerder op LIFF met The One I Love, en keert dit keer terug met een tragikomedie, inclusief indie sterrencast (Kumail Nanjiani, Lucy Boynton en Ariela Barer).
