Joosje Duk
ROOTS Masterclass by Joosje Duk
Join Talenthub Zuid-Holland’s first 2026 talk as Joosje Duk shares her creative journey, inspirations, and tips for emerging filmmakers in The Hague.
Talenthub Zuid-Holland supports filmmakers by providing space, guidance, and connections to help them grow and bring new stories to life. Together with partners such as IFFR, Filmhuis Den Haag, QISSA, Buddy Film Foundation, Rotterdam Writers’ Rooms, LantarenVenster, and New Producers Academy, the hub serves as a home base full of opportunities, guiding creators toward development programs, funding, and the best platforms to showcase their work.
As part of its 2026 program, Talenthub is hosting a new series of events aimed at inspiring, sharing knowledge, and facilitating networking. The series kicks off this year with a session organized by Filmhuis Den Haag and QISSA. In this first talk, moderator Nawa Sira van Sluijs—presenter, documentary filmmaker, and QISSA alumnus—will speak with Joosje Duk, actress, director, and screenwriter, known for the series Máxima and Nordin.
During the conversation, Joosje will share insights into her creative journey and sources of inspiration. She will reflect on the path she has taken to reach her current position, the influences that have shaped her artistic process, and offer tips for fellow filmmakers from The Hague.
