This slot consists of the following films:
Karim (Faten Bushehri): Cheerful football fan Karim misses his best friend Laith, who still lives in Syria—the country Karim had to flee. Luckily, he has his mother, his musical instrument, and Truus from the library to keep him company. But to truly feel at home, Karim will need to make new friends. Can he find companions to play football with and enjoy the fair together?
En Leid ons Niet in Bekoring (Morris Maturbongs): Flamboyant Moluccan gospel choir leader Petrus returns to his native village. In this debut short, he and his conservative father Marius attend a church service held forty days after his mother’s death. Using a gospel choir, Petrus tries to connect with his father—will he challenge tradition, or will they find a way to accept each other as they are?
De Doop (Shedelia Makdonald): To win the love of her devout mother, the sharp-minded and headstrong Delicia must convert to a faith she doesn’t believe in. Standing in the baptismal pool of her mother’s church, she faces an impossible choice: betray her own spiritual freedom, or lose her mother’s love forever.

Karim (Faten Bushehri): De vrolijke voetbalfan Karim mist zijn beste vriend Laith, die nog in Syrië woont – het land waar Karim uit moest vluchten. Gelukkig heeft hij zijn moeder, zijn muziekinstrument en Truus uit de bibliotheek om hem gezelschap te houden. Maar om zich echt thuis te voelen, zal Karim nieuwe vrienden moeten maken. Vindt hij maatjes om mee te voetballen en samen naar de kermis te gaan?
En Leid ons Niet in Bekoring (Morris Maturbongs): De flamboyante Molukse gospelkoorleider Petrus keert terug naar zijn geboorteplaats. In deze debuutkortfilm wonen hij en zijn conservatieve vader Marius een kerkdienst bij die veertig dagen na de dood van zijn moeder wordt gehouden. Met een gospelkoor probeert Petrus contact te maken met zijn vader – durft hij tradities te doorbreken, of vinden ze een manier om elkaar te accepteren zoals ze zijn?
De Doop (Shedelia Makdonald): Om de liefde van haar vrome moeder te winnen, moet de slimme en eigenzinnige Delicia zich bekeren tot een geloof waarin ze niet gelooft. Staand in het doopvont van de kerk van haar moeder, staat ze voor een onmogelijke keuze: haar eigen spirituele vrijheid verraden, of de liefde van haar moeder voorgoed verliezen.
