Het muzikale, romantische Que d’amour gaat over Hamid en Noura, een jong stel dat hun weekenden doorbrengt bij de majestueuze Asfourberg, gelegen aan de Marokkaans-Algerijnse grens. Voor Noura symboliseert de berg de immense kracht van haar liefde, en Hamid beseft dat hij een groot hart nodig heeft om die liefde te bevatten. Wanneer Noura op haar sterfbed ligt, smeekt ze Hamid om haar in zijn hart te begraven. Hij ziet dit als haar wens om bij de Asfourberg te rusten—een plek die door grensbeperkingen onbereikbaar is. Vastbesloten om haar laatste wens te vervullen, zet Hamid alles op het spel. Hun liefdesverhaal verspreidt zich via sociale media en raakt mensen aan beide kanten van de grens, waardoor een golf van solidariteit ontstaat om de droom van de "Prinses van de Asfourberg" werkelijkheid te maken.

The musical and romantic Que d’amour tells the story of Hamid and Noura, a young couple who spend their weekends at the majestic Asfour Mountain, located on the Moroccan-Algerian border. For Noura, the mountain symbolizes the immense power of her love, and Hamid realizes he needs a big heart to contain that love. When Noura lies on her deathbed, she begs Hamid to bury her in his heart. He interprets this as her wish to rest by Asfour Mountain—a place made inaccessible due to border restrictions. Determined to fulfill her final wish, Hamid puts everything on the line. Their love story spreads through social media and touches people on both sides of the border, sparking a wave of solidarity to make the dream of the “Princess of Asfour Mountain” come true.
With a strong emphasis on music and visual poetry, Que d’amour transcends not only physical borders but also touches on universal themes of love, loss, and the power of human connection. The cinematography by Yassine Bouderba and Walid Mharzi Alaoui captures the stunning yet divided landscapes, while the music, composed by Kamal Kamal, underscores the mood and emotions of the characters.
