Film star Arindam Mukherjee is travelling by train to an award ceremony when he strikes up a conversation with a young journalist. During the journey, he reflects on his career, achievements and disappointments, as memories and doubts gradually resurface. Slowly, a portrait emerges of the man behind the public image.
