My Want of You Partakes of Me interrogates digestion as the fundamental condition for being in the world, a process of physiological, psychological, spiritual, literary and political dimensions. Multiple storylines trace the poetics of incorporation as a matter of metamorphosis and decay, the philosophy of matter and imperial conquest, industrialisation and annihilation, poetry and parenting, love and citation.
My Want of You Partakes of Me ondervraagt vertering als de fundamentele voorwaarde om in de wereld te zijn, een proces met fysiologische, psychologische, spirituele, literaire en politieke dimensies. Meerdere verhaallijnen traceren de poëtica van incorporatie als een kwestie van metamorfose en verval, de filosofie van materie en imperiale verovering, industrialisatie en vernietiging, poëzie en ouderschap, liefde en citatie.
ReCNTR
ReCNTR is an interdisciplinary research center dedicated to the advancement of multimodal and audiovisual research methods in the social sciences and humanities.
