My Left Foot - DDL
Against every limitation, expression finds its way.
Based on the life of Irish writer and painter Christy Brown, My Left Foot portrays a man born with cerebral palsy who is expected to live in silence and dependency. Against medical skepticism and social prejudice, Christy discovers his ability to communicate through the only limb he can control: his left foot. Supported by his fiercely devoted mother, he asserts his voice and artistic identity in a world unwilling to listen.
