Out of necessity, he trades the nightlife scene for a care home. The contrast with the sun-drenched freedom and openness of Maspalomas could hardly be greater. Consequently, once in the care home, he decides to go back into the closet. But is that really necessary?
Maspalomas became a sensation in Spain. Actor José Ramón Soroiz won the Best Actor award twice: first following the world premiere at the San Sebastián Film Festival, and again at the Goyas—the Spanish Oscars.
