Lamb - Gather Round Folks
A child born to a sheep leads an isolated Icelandic couple to build an unexpected family.
María and Ingvar live an isolated life on a farm in rural Iceland, where they tend to their sheep. When one of their ewes gives birth, they discover an unusual newborn that looks partly human and partly animal. The couple decides to raise the strange creature as their own, bringing a new sense of happiness into their lives. Their attempt to build a family around it is disrupted when someone from Ingvar’s past arrives at the farm.
María en Ingvar leiden een geïsoleerd leven op een boerderij op het IJslandse platteland, waar ze voor hun schapen zorgen. Wanneer een van hun ooien bevalt, ontdekken ze een vreemd pasgeboren wezen dat deels mens en deels dier is. Het stel besluit het wezen als hun eigen kind op te voeden, waardoor er nieuw geluk in hun leven ontstaat. Hun poging om er een gezin van te maken wordt verstoord wanneer iemand uit Ingvars verleden op de boerderij verschijnt.
