In 1960s Tokyo, transgender woman Eddie navigates love, jealousy, and rivalry in the underground nightlife.
Set in Tokyo’s vibrant 1960s underground scene, the film follows Eddie, a young queer club hostess navigating love, jealousy, and self-destruction. Entangled in a volatile love triangle with club manager Gonda and rival Leda, Eddie’s world begins to unravel. Blending avant-garde interviews, documentary fragments, and psychedelic editing, the film crafts a raw portrait of identity. As reality and fiction blur, Eddie is forced to confront her past. A devastating truth gradually comes to light. A radical reimagining of the Oedipus myth.
Following the screening of Funeral Parade of Roses on May 30, we invite you to join a Voguing workshop inspired by this vibrant culture. Whether you’re completely new or already familiar with voguing, all levels are welcome. Come as you are and wear something you feel comfortable moving in. The workshop will be given by Jo'ellina and The Hangout 070 in Studio B and is free, no registration needed. First come first serve!

Na de vertoning van Funeral Parade of Roses op 30 mei nodigen we je uit om deel te nemen aan een voguing-workshop, geïnspireerd door deze levendige cultuur. Of je nu helemaal nieuw bent of al bekend bent met voguing, alle niveaus zijn welkom. Kom zoals je bent en draag iets waarin je je comfortabel voelt om te bewegen. De workshop wordt gegeven door Jo'ellina en The Hangout 070 in Studio B en is gratis; aanmelden is niet nodig. Vol = vol!
