At Camp Crystal Lake, the summer season begins with screams, blood, and a killer hiding in the woods.
At Camp Crystal Lake, a group of young counselors arrives to prepare the summer camp for reopening. Soon after their arrival, they are stalked and brutally murdered one by one by an unseen killer. As the survivors try to uncover who is hunting them, the camp’s dark history begins to reveal itself. The isolated woods become a deadly trap where every shadow could hide a threat.
Op Camp Crystal Lake arriveert een groep jonge kampbegeleiders om het zomerkamp klaar te maken voor de heropening. Kort daarna worden ze één voor één achtervolgd en op gruwelijke wijze vermoord door een onbekende moordenaar. Terwijl de overlevenden proberen te ontdekken wie achter de moorden zit, komt het duistere verleden van het kamp langzaam aan het licht. De afgelegen bossen veranderen in een dodelijke val waar niemand veilig is.
