film070 Presents: The One Minutes

On august 28th, film070 is joining forces with The One Minutes for a new edition of your favorite filmclub night! The One Minutes Collection features over 18,000 video works by artists from more than 120 countries, preserved and accessible through the Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision. The One Minutes Foundation aims to produce and distribute one-minute videos, offering a global platform for creativity, participation, and connection. By showcasing short, accessible films, the foundation seeks to foster free expression, collective imagination, and global solidarity across diverse, interconnected realities.

21:05 - Filmscreening 'We need new superstars': The One Minutes Series, We Need New Superstars, curated by No Limits! Art Castle, features 21 films that challenge traditional superstar identities by highlighting diverse bodies and minds, including neurodiverse, disabled, queer, and even non-human figures.

21:26 - Q&A with film070 and Julia van Mourik (The One Minutes), Mina Yee filmmaker of 'Woohoo, Technology!' and Damaris de Jong, filmmaker of 'Kont'.
