In dit filmcollege neemt Jeroen Huijsdens je mee in de wereld van het filmtoerisme. Waarom willen we de plaatsen bezoeken waar onze favoriete films en series werden opgenomen? Vanuit zijn persoonlijke fascinatie verkent Jeroen de geschiedenis van filmlocaties. Hij staat stil bij filmlocaties in Nederland, in het bijzonder bij die van Oorlogswinter (2008) vanwege de Nederlandse films die Filmhuis Den Haag vertoont.
Jeroen Huijsdens is sinds 1994 actief in de Nederlandse filmsector. Hij was onder meer hoofdredacteur van het vakblad Holland Film Nieuws en is dat nog steeds van het marketingplatform Filmdepot.nl. Als fervent filmliefhebber bezoekt hij sinds 1998 filmlocaties. In 2022 lanceerde hij de Nederlandse podcast Fantastische Filmlocaties, waarin iconische films, hun makers en de locaties waar ze zijn opgenomen centraal staan.

In this film lecture, Jeroen Huijsdens explores the world of film tourism. Why do we want to visit the places where our favourite films and series were shot? Drawing on his personal fascination, Jeroen explores the history of film locations. He will also focus on film locations in the Netherlands, with particular attention to Oorlogswinter (2008), in connection with the Dutch films screened by Filmhuis Den Haag.
Jeroen Huijsdens has been active in the Dutch film industry since 1994. Among other roles, he was editor-in-chief of the trade magazine Holland Film Nieuws, and he is still editor-in-chief of the marketing platform Filmdepot.nl. As a passionate film lover, he has been visiting film locations since 1998. In 2022, he launched the Dutch podcast Fantastische Filmlocaties, which explores iconic films, their filmmakers and the locations where they were filmed.
