After the “Second Impact,” the Fourth Angel attacks Tokyo III, and the fate of humanity rests with NERV. Shinji Ikari must pilot EVA-01 to fight, alongside Rei Ayanami, the pilot of EVA-00. During the battle, EVA-01 is damaged by the Sixth Angel. Misato Katsuragi comes up with a plan to concentrate all of Japan’s electricity into EVA-01’s weapon to defeat the Angel. This is the first film in a series of four!
Na de “Second Impact” valt de Vierde Engel Tokyo III aan, en het lot van de mensheid ligt in handen van NERV. Shinji Ikari moet in EVA-01 stappen om te vechten, samen met Rei Ayanami, de piloot van EVA-00. Tijdens het gevecht wordt EVA-01 beschadigd door de Zesde Engel. Misato Katsuragi bedenkt een plan om alle elektriciteit van Japan te bundelen in het wapen van EVA-01, zodat ze de Engel kunnen verslaan. Dit is de eerste film in een serie van vier!
