El Abrazo de la Serpiente - Beyond Conquest
A haunting Amazonian odyssey about memory, loss, and the meeting of worlds.

Spanning decades in the Colombian Amazon, the story follows Karamakate, the last survivor of his tribe, as he guides two foreign scientists on separate journeys in search of a sacred healing plant. The encounters reveal the clash between Indigenous cosmology and Western exploration.
On October 8th, the film will be introduced by a speaker from Leiden University College The Hague. More information TBA.
