Die My Love is de nieuwe film van Lynne Ramsay (We Need to Talk About Kevin), You Were Never Really Here) In deze ‘intensely sensual study of a woman in meltdown’ (The Guardian) schittert Jennifer Lawrence als jonge moeder die de grip op het leven verliest.
Grace (Jennifer Lawrence) en Jackson (Robert Pattinson) zijn een toonbeeld van jong geluk. Ze verhuizen naar een oud huis in Montana, dat ze opknappen en waar ze genieten van de natuur. Al snel verwachten ze hun eerste kindje. Maar Grace is niet gelukkig. De omgeving lijkt haar op te slokken. Ze raakt steeds meer geagiteerd en haar gedrag wordt onberekenbaar. Jackson probeert Grace weer terug te winnen, maar weet niet goed hoe.
Die My Love brengt een schokgolf teweeg door de combinatie van brute emotie, wanhopige liefde en een meeslepend sounddesign. De film werd geselecteerd voor de hoofdcompetitie van het Filmfestival van Cannes.

Die My Love is the new film by Lynne Ramsay (We Need to Talk About Kevin, You Were Never Really Here). In this “intensely sensual study of a woman in meltdown” (The Guardian), Jennifer Lawrence shines as a young mother who is losing her grip on life.
Grace (Jennifer Lawrence) and Jackson (Robert Pattinson) are the picture of young happiness. They move into an old house in Montana, which they renovate and where they enjoy nature. Soon they are expecting their first child. But Grace is not happy. The environment seems to engulf her. She becomes increasingly agitated and her behaviour becomes unpredictable. Jackson tries to win Grace back, but doesn't quite know how.
Die My Love causes a shockwave with its combination of raw emotion, desperate love and compelling sound design. The film was selected for the main competition at the Cannes Film Festival.
