Arrietty (4K Restoration) - Late Night Anime
A tiny family living secretly alongside humans sees their carefully hidden world turned upside down when their teenage daughter, Arrietty, is discovered.
The Clock family consists of tiny people who are only a few centimetres tall. They live secretly alongside a family of “normal-sized” people. To make ends meet, they discreetly “borrow” everyday objects and use them to build and maintain their own little home. But their carefully hidden way of life is put at risk when their teenage daughter, Arrietty, is discovered by the people who live in the house.
De familie Clock bestaat uit piepkleine mensen van slechts enkele centimeters groot. Ze wonen onopgemerkt samen met een gezin van ‘grote’ mensen. Om in hun levensonderhoud te voorzien, “lenen” zij op discrete wijze gebruiksvoorwerpen waarmee zij hun eigen huisje bouwen en onderhouden. Hun zorgvuldig verborgen bestaan komt echter onder druk te staan wanneer hun tienerdochter Arrietty wordt ontdekt door de bewoners van het huis.
