9 to 5 is a comedy about three women working in an office who grow tired of their arrogant and sexist boss, Franklin Hart. Violet, Judy and Doralee eventually take matters into their own hands and bring positive changes to the workplace. The film is a humorous critique of sexism and inequality in the workplace and became even more iconic thanks to Dolly Parton, who plays Doralee and performs the famous title song, “9 to 5.”

9 to 5 is een komedie over drie vrouwen die op kantoor werken en genoeg hebben van hun arrogante en seksistische baas, Franklin Hart. Violet, Judy en Doralee nemen uiteindelijk het heft in eigen handen en brengen positieve veranderingen teweeg op de werkvloer. De film is een humoristische kritiek op seksisme en ongelijkheid op de werkvloer en werd nog iconischer dankzij Dolly Parton, die Doralee speelt en het beroemde titellied "9 to 5" zingt.
