This dark thriller from 1994 immediately established the basis for Boyle's signature blend of black humour and suspense. With strong performances from Ewan McGregor, Christopher Eccleston and Kerry Fox, Shallow Grave follows three roommates who are confronted with a sinister secret when they discover the corpse of their new roommate. The film immerses you in a web of deceit, greed and paranoia.
