Funeral Parade of Roses is about Eddie, a young drag queen, navigating life in the underground queer nightlife of late 60s Tokyo. Blending arthouse and experimental styles, whilst blurring the lines between the story of the characters and the story of the actors, the film takes you on a journey between longing dreams & haunting reality.
For the month of June, film070 invites you all to join June 26th to experience this trip of a film together, and to reflect on the queer experience that is indebted in history of resistance & counterculture.
