The story centers on Iris, a shy and introverted woman who struggles to fit in and find her place. She befriends three of her colleagues: Margaret, the rebellious and outspoken leader of the group; Paula, an aspiring actress; and Jane, a woman desperate for job security. As they navigate the monotonous tasks and invisible status within the company, they bond over their shared dissatisfaction and dreams of something more meaningful. However, when small thefts begin to occur in the office, tensions rise, and the women find themselves under suspicion.
Het verhaal draait om Iris, een verlegen en introverte vrouw die moeite heeft om haar plek te vinden. Ze raakt bevriend met drie collega's: Margaret, de rebelse en uitgesproken leider van de groep; Paula, een ambitieuze actrice; en Jane, een vrouw die wanhopig op zoek is naar werkzekerheid. Terwijl ze hun weg vinden door de monotone taken en hun onzichtbare status binnen het bedrijf, vormen ze een band over hun gedeelde ontevredenheid en dromen van iets betekenisvollers. Maar wanneer er kleine diefstallen beginnen voor te komen op kantoor, lopen de spanningen op en komen de vrouwen onder verdenking te staan.
