Grand Me - MTM on Tour
Melina lives with her grandparents since her parents' divorce. She wants to live with her mother, but this is not possible because both her father and new stepfather are against it. Besides that, Melina's mother struggles balancing her relationship with her new spouse and fostering a proper relationship with her daughter.

Besides that, Melina's mother struggles balancing her relationship with her new spouse and fostering a proper relationship with her daughter. Celebrating her 9th birthday, Melina is finally old enough to bring her custody case to court. With the law on her side, she hopes to eventually choose her own custodian. Unfortunately, Melina is not aware of how the adult world is organized and how reality will probably play out differently.
Isfahan, Iran. Melina woont bij haar grootouders sinds de scheiding van haar ouders. Ze wil graag bij haar moeder wonen, maar dit is niet mogelijk omdat zowel haar vader als haar nieuwe stiefvader hier tegen zijn. Daarnaast worstelt Melina's moeder met het vinden van een balans tussen haar relatie met haar nieuwe echtgenoot en het onderhouden van een goede relatie met haar dochter. Met het vieren van haar 9e verjaardag is Melina eindelijk oud genoeg om haar voogdijzaak voor de rechter te brengen. Met de wet aan haar kant hoopt ze uiteindelijk haar eigen voogd te kunnen kiezen. Helaas is Melina zich er niet van bewust hoe de wereld van volwassenen in elkaar zit en hoe de werkelijkheid waarschijnlijk anders zal zijn.

Movies that Matter organiseert met haar On Tour-programma filmvertoningen en verdiepingsprogramma’s door het hele land én online. Ze werken hierbij samen met uiteenlopende organisaties en bedrijven. De stichting organiseert onder andere ook het jaarlijkse Movies that Matter festival in Den Haag.

With the On Tour program, Movies that Matter organizes screenings with in-depth programmes in The Netherlands and online. They do this in collaboration with a diverse array of organisations and companies. Among other things, the organization also organises the annual Movies that Matter Festival in The Hague.
