Dog days are over (Kinga Pudełek) - Poland, 2024
A girl ends her relationship with her boyfriend, and at the same time, her neighbor's beloved dog dies. Although these events may seem unrelated to some, that would be a misunderstanding. 23 min.
Collectors (Mia Martinovic) - Croatia, 2022
A man narrates the memories of a Collector, showing us images and sounds she collected on her journey through the land of fire and ice. Through sounds and images, collected memories are revealed and played with in the film-essay "Collectors". An emotional landscape is created and allows the audience to contemplate and dream, as the narrator wonders about the time that passed. 10 min.
Victory (Zulfikar Filandra) - Bosnia and Herzegovina, 2024
Velid, a worker at an explosives factory in the vicinity of Gorazde, is fired along with several of his colleagues. While other workers are protesting and starting a strike against the factory, Velid falls into depression and wanders alone around the city and the banks of the river Drina. Two young, aspiring film directors visiting Bosnia bump into him and decide to engage him in their film. This develops in a painful way. 22 min.
You idiot (Andrija Tomic) - Croatia, 2023
"You Idiot" brings a mix of different film languages and styles together in a story about friendship, violence and masculinity. The uncompromising approach to duration and perspective is genre-bending and daring. 10 min.
Including a Q&A with the film makers. The public is able to vote on their favorite short, the winner will be announced on sunday!

Dog Days Are Over (Kinga Pudełek) - Polen, 2024
Een meisje beëindigt haar relatie met haar vriend, en tegelijkertijd sterft de geliefde hond van haar buurman. Hoewel deze gebeurtenissen voor sommigen als ongerelateerd kunnen lijken, is dat een misverstand. 23 min.
Collectors (Mia Martinovic) - Kroatië, 2022
Een man vertelt de herinneringen van een verzamelaar, terwijl hij ons beelden en geluiden toont die zij heeft verzameld op haar reis door het land van vuur en ijs. Door middel van geluiden en beelden worden de verzamelde herinneringen onthuld en in de film-essay "Collectors" bespeeld. Er ontstaat een emotioneel landschap dat het publiek in staat stelt om te contempleren en te dromen, terwijl de verteller zich afvraagt over de verstreken tijd. 10 min.
Victory (Zulfikar Filandra) - Bosnië en Herzegovina, 2024
Velid, een werknemer in een explosievenfabriek in de omgeving van Gorazde, wordt samen met verschillende van zijn collega's ontslagen. Terwijl andere arbeiders protesteren en een staking tegen de fabriek beginnen, valt Velid in een depressie en zwerft hij alleen door de stad en langs de oevers van de Drina. Twee jonge, aspirant-filmregisseurs die Bosnië bezoeken, stuiten op hem en besluiten hem bij hun film te betrekken. Dit ontwikkelt zich op een pijnlijke manier. 22 min.
You Idiot (Andrija Tomic) - Kroatië, 2023
"You Idiot" brengt een mix van verschillende filmtaal en stijlen samen in een verhaal over vriendschap, geweld en mannelijkheid. De compromisloze benadering van duur en perspectief is genre-buigend en gedurfd. 10 min.
